About Us

Organization for Better Tomorrow in Afghanistan is a non-profit, non-governmental and non-political, women-led organizations.  This organization was founded by a group of well-educated and goal-oriented Afghan females and males that has been established with humanitarian as well as developmental goals under number 3900 in Ministry of Economy of Islamic Republic of Afghanistan in 2016. OBTA is dedicated to uphold commitment, integrity, transparency and good governances as pillars of its organization. These core values have helped us come a long way since our initiation an allowed us to make a notable change in the lives of thousands of Afghans. Our aim is to reach out to millions of others across Afghanistan and be a catalyst in the change of not only practices but the entire social mindset towards development and empowering Afghans life especially women as major force of our society. OBTA believes that economic and social developments are key factors contributing to a developed nation and hence our rural development programs to address these needs. OBTA hopes to be a major force in making a lasting and notable changes in Afghan society.

Goals: The goals of Organization for Better Tomorrow in Afghanistan (OBTA) are humanitarian support for the needed communities without any social, political, ethics, language, and region discrimination and also committed to focus on the following areas:

  • Promote women’s and children rights
  • Plan to implement capacity building programs especially for women and youth
  • Socio- Economic development of the society
  • Development of education especially for women and children
  • Plan and implement TVET programs in the society especially for women
  • Promote the protection of environment
  • Plan to conduct research
